OPEN WATER DIVER
Divers Reef offers four regularly scheduled classes every month, year around. We have a Monday and Wednesday evening class as well as a Tuesday and Thursday evening class. They run for either two or three weeks (the only difference is the amount of time spent in class each evening). We also offer two weekend classes each month. Our Friday, Saturday and Sunday class runs Friday evening for three hours and both Saturday and Sunday for seven hours each day. Our Saturday and Sunday class runs for nine hours each day. We can also design a private class for you if our regularly scheduled classes don't fit your busy schedule.

Upon completion of one of these classes, you will need to do four open water training dives conducted over two days. These dives will complete your PADI Open Water certification.

ADVENTURES IN DIVING (Advanced Open Water Diver)
The next step to your dive training is the Adventures in Diving class, which consists of three nights classroom training followed by five open water training dives conducted over two days at the dive site of your choice (see our Open Water schedule for times and dates).

RESCUE DIVER
One of the most rewarding as well as confidence building classes you will ever take (plus it's fun!). This course will familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization and procedures needed to be a rescue diver. The student will come to appreciate and understand the importance such training has on the safety of others and on the diving industry as a whole. The primary objective of this course is to prevent the need for use of rescue skills.

EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE (First Aid)
Learn first aid and C. P. R. from our professional PADI instructors. This course is not just diving related and is open to the general public. (This course is a prerequisite to Rescue Diver.)

DIVEMASTER
Divemaster training is the first professional level of PADI training. This training denotes an individual who: 1) has a high level of personal diving skill; 2) has instructor-level knowledge of diving theory; 3) has had significant training in how to assist an instructor during training activities; and 4) is able to assume a role of responsibility for the welfare of other divers in his charge. Those who join the PADI Divemaster ranks assist instructors with student diver training. The Divemaster will supervise diving activities for certified divers, snorkelers and skin divers and will influence the safety and fun divers enjoy during training and diving.

ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR
The PADI Assistant Instructor course is an experience orientated program. Once completed, it allows you to conduct some introductory level and refresher courses without any instructor supervision. The Assistant Instructor class is also excellent preparation for the PADI Instructor course.

ICE DIVING
A very distinctive specialty for those who like diving year around. Divers Reef has been instructing ice diving for more than 15 years and leads the field in safety, with a student/instructor ratio of 2 : 1. Divers Reef prides itself in providing a safe and relaxing environment for the experience of a lifetime. Students enjoy this unique overhead environment in the comfort and warmth of dry suits (included in your class cost). How about the extreme experience of "snow boarding" upside down under the ice? The course consists of classroom and pool preparation and three open water training dives conducted over two days. Divers must be certified as Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent) and be eighteen (18) years of age.
