Divers Reef has been certifying divers since 1972, and over the years it has become a tradition to do your PADI certification dives at "The world famous Blue Hole" in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. However, there is life beyond the Blue Hole! Divers Reef has designed an entirely new approach to your open water certification adventure.

Classroom and Pool Sessions

Our confined water dives and classroom sessions will remain the same high quality training experience we are known for and that you expect of us.  This classroom and pool sessions cost $185. Another option is to do your entire certification including your four open water dives.  These sessions cost $325.00 per person (subject to change) and include all classroom, pool sessions, and open water dives at either Blue Hole or Homestead Crater. Also included in the course fee is all rental equipment, free use of our pool for life, and a 10% discount on anything in the store while enrolled in the course.  Classroom materials consisting of PADI Open Water manual, logbook and recreational dive planner cost an additional $49.95 per person. Videos that may be shared are $29.95.

Open Water Training Dive Options

Blue Hole, Santa Rosa, New Mexico—Blue Hole is always an excellent choice for your certification dives, and is only a five-hour drive from Colorado Springs. Location, price, good visibility, and consistent water temperature make Blue Hole one of the most popular certification sites in America. The course fee includes professional staff members from Divers Reef and all necessary rental equipment needed to successfully complete your weekend adventure. Lodging, meals, transportation expenses, and park fees are not included in the course fee.

Homestead Crater, Park City Utah—How about 95 degree water year around in a luxury resort featuring golf, skiing, hiking, horseback riding, hot spring spas, gourmet food and diving? The Crater offers all this and much more. Only a nine-hour drive from Colorado Springs.  The course fee includes professional staff members from Divers Reef and all the necessary rental equipment needed for your pampered weekend certification adventure.  Lodging, meals, transportation expenses, and park fees are not included in the course fee. The Homestead Resort offers special lodging discounts for Divers Reef clientele. Make sure you have our discount reservation code when you call for reservations.

Referral Packages—We can provide you with one of our referral kits which may be taken to your vacation destination that our travel department has arranged for you. Hand it to any PADI Instructor in the world and he will have all the necessary materials to complete your Open Water certification. The price for the kit is $24.95.
