OPEN
WATER DIVER
DIVERS REEF offers three regularly scheduled
classes every month, year round. We have
Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday &
Thursday evening classes. These are two
nights a week for three weeks. We also,
offer weekend classes that start Friday
night, Saturday daytime and Sunday daytime
see schedule for times and dates. We also
offer very flexible private classes that
you can custom design to fit your busy schedule.
Upon completion of these classes you will
need to do four open water dives over two
days, this will complete your PADI Open
Water Certification, Please

ADVENTURES
IN DIVING (Advanced Diver)
The next step to your dive training is the
Adventures in diving class, which consists
of three nights training and then you are
off to do five open water over two days
at the dive site of your choice (see schedule
for times and dates). Check-out the possible

your training after open water training

IN DIVE TRAINING REPLACES ADVANCED OPEN
WATER.
RESCUE
DIVER
One of the most rewarding and self confidence
building classes you will ever take, plus
it is fun! This course is to familiarize
divers with the skills, knowledge, planning,
organization, procedures needed to be a
rescue diver. The student should come to
appreciate and understand the importance
such training has on the safety of others
and on the diving industry as a whole. The
primary objective of this course is to prevent
the need for use of rescue skills.
MEDIC FIRST
AID
Learn first aid and C. P. R. from our professional
PADI instructors. This course is not just
diving related and is open to the general
public.
DIVEMASTER
Divemaster training is the first professional
level of PADI training. This training denotes
an individual whom: 1. has a high level
of personal diving skill. 2. has instructor-level
knowledge of diving theory. 3. has had significant
training in how to assist an instructors
during training activities. 4. is able to
assume a role of responsibility for the
welfare of other diver in his charge. Those
who join the PADI DIVEMASTER ranks assist
instructors with training student divers.
Supervise diving activities for certified
divers, snorkelers and skin divers. You
will influence the safety and fun divers
enjoy during training and diving.
ASSISTANT
INSTRUCTOR
The PADI Assistant Instructor Course prepares
you with an experience orientated program,
that once certified, allows you to conduct
some introductory level and refresher courses
on your own. Also, this has become a wonderful
preparation program for the PADI Instructor
course.
ICE
DIVING for the year 2003 (rentalprices
subject to change)
A very distinctive specialty for those who
like diving year round. Divers Reef has
been instructing Ice Diving for more than
fifteen years and leads the field in safety,
with a student instructor ratio of 2 : 1.
Divers Reef prides itself in providing a
safe and relaxing environment for the experience
of a lifetime. Students enjoy this unique
overhead environment in the comfort and
warmth of dry suits (included in your class
cost). Divers Reef's exclusive on the Ice
House includes, a warm room to prepare for
dives, also facilities to get out of the
elements. How about THE EXTREME EXPERIENCE
of snow boarding upside down under
the ice? The course consists of classroom
preparation, one (1) pool session and three
open water training dives conducted over
two (2) days. Divers must be certified as
advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
